BUSH adalah band Post Grunge Inggris yang dibentuk di London pada tahun 1992 sesaat setelah vokalis / gitaris Gavin Rossdale dan gitaris Nigel Pulsford bertemu di sebuah klub malam di London. Menyadari mereka berbagi kasih bagi seniman beragam seperti Pixies, Bob Marley, The Jesus Lizards, MC5, Hüsker DU, dan Big Black, mereka memutuskan untuk membentuk sebuah band bersama-sama. Itu tidak lama sebelum mereka merekrut drummer Robin Goodridge dan bassis Dave Parsons dan mulai menulis. Dave Parsons bergabung Bush tak lama setelah meninggalkan band Transvision menggoda. Drumer seperti Sasha Gervasi, Amir, dan Spencer Cobrin memiliki semua diambil mereka pergi sebagai drumer Bush sebelum Robin Goodridge dibuat fit permanen dan dengan demikian melengkapi lineup Bush.


Band segera menemukan sukses dengan merilis album debut mereka Sixteen Stone di tahun 1994, yang disertifikasi 6 × multi-platinum oleh RIAA. Bush kemudian menjadi salah satu band rock yang paling sukses secara komersial pada 1990-an, menjual lebih dari 10 juta catatan di Amerika Serikat. Meskipun keberhasilan mereka di Amerika Serikat, band ini kurang dikenal di negara asal mereka dan hanya menikmati kesuksesan marjinal ada Bush memiliki banyak single sepuluh besar di tangga lagu rock Billboard., dan satu # 1 album Razorblade Suitcase pada tahun 1996. Band ini dipisahkan pada tahun 2002 tapi nama itu dihidupkan kembali pada tahun 2010 untuk mendukung album baru, Semuanya Selalu Sekarang, akan dirilis pada awal 2011 dan beberapa menunjukkan hidup.


Kelompok ini memilih nama "Bush" karena mereka dulu tinggal di Shepherd's Bush, London.
Di Kanada, mereka pernah dikenal sebagai Bushx, karena tahun 1970-an band Bush, yang dipimpin oleh Domenic Troiano, memiliki hak Kanada untuk nama. Pada bulan April 1997, diumumkan bahwa Troiano telah setuju untuk membiarkan mereka menggunakan nama Bush di Kanada tanpa eksponen x, dalam pertukaran untuk menyumbangkan $ 20.000 masing-masing untuk Anak Starlight Foundation dan Kanada Terapi Musik Trust Fund.
