Gas Huffer

Gas Huffer adalah band ber-genre garage rock dari negara bagian Washington,Amerika yang dibentuk pada tahun 1989. Mereka dikenal karena lirik mereka formal dan lucu dan kehadiran panggung antik mereka.


Gas Huffer diklasifikasikan diri longgar dalam genre punk Garasi. Band ini dibuat buku-buku komik dengan masing-masing album (diambil oleh seluruh empat anggota band, termasuk Joe Newton, sekarang seni wakil direktur untuk majalah Rolling Stone), yang berisi lirik lagu-lagu. Hal ini dilakukan untuk album setiap sampai dengan (dan termasuk) "Just Beautiful Music".
Gas Huffer memainkan final show - dijuluki "The Last Huffer" - di Seattle's Crocodile Cafe pada tanggal 14 Januari 2006. Membuka acara itu Trouble Girl dari Tacoma, Washington, dan Canned Hamm dari Vancouver, British Columbia. Pada akhir set Girl Trouble, K.P. Kendall disebut Gas Huffer Tom Price (yang telah didiagnosa dengan penyakit Parkinson) ke panggung dan memperlihatkan kepadanya sebuah "Certificate of Achievement".
Sebelum ke Gas Huffer, Tom Price bermain dengan The Men-U.
The "huffer" istilah yang sering mengacu pada bentuk penyalahgunaan zat yang dikenal sebagai terengah-engah.
