MUDHONEY

Mudhoney adalah band Grunge Amerika. Dibentuk di Seattle, Washington, pada tahun 1988 setelah kematian Green River, anggota Mudhoney adalah vokalis dan gitaris ritme Mark Arm, Steve Turner gitaris, bassis Guy Maddison, dan drummer Dan Peters. 

Original bassist Matt Lukin meninggalkan band pada tahun 1999 tetapi sebentar kembali pada bulan Desember 2000 untuk menyelesaikan kewajiban tur. Rilis awal Mudhoney di Sub Pop, singel yang berjudul "Touch Me I'm Sick"  dan Superfuzz Bigmuff EP; sangat berpengaruh dalam kancah musik Seattle, dan membantu mengilhami suara, kotor tinggi-distorsi yang akan ciri grunge. 

Mudhoney juga terkenal karena mereka mencampur rock blues berat dan punk rock. Meskipun mereka telah menemukan sukses komersial kecil selama karir mereka yang panjang, yang telah menghasilkan sepuluh album studio, mereka tetap terinspirasi banyak dan musisi grunge, seperti Kurt Cobain dari Nirvana.
